IIJmio's Gigaplan can use up to 10 lines with one mio ID

I think some of you may have a question, "It seems that you can use multiple lines (multiple SIMs) with the Gigaplan, but what exactly does that mean?", So I will explain Soko again.

If you subscribe to the IIJmio service, you will get a user account called "mioID". IIJmio has various services such as mobile services (IIJmio Hikari, Safety Mail, Iloilo), but the contracted service is linked to this ID. Even if you subscribe to the Giga Plan, it will be linked to this ID. Charges for various contracted services will be deducted from the credit card registered with this ID.

In the case of the Giga plan, there are various rate plans as shown in the table below. Of course, if you sign up for one plan, you can use one line (one SIM or eSIM).

Furthermore, "Gigaplan can be contracted for up to 10 lines within the same mioID." You can combine SIMs (plans) with different functions / capacities and make as many contracts as you need. You can also operate 10 smartphones by making 10 contracts (total 8580 yen) for voice SIM 2 giga plan (858 yen). Of course, the more contract plans you have, the higher the charge, but you can use up to 10 SIMs with one mio ID.

So, the data capacity related function explained below is a function that "can be used within the same mioID". For example, you cannot share data capacity or give gifts between Gigaplans contracted with different mioIDs.

As an image of using multiple SIMs in the Gigaplan, for example, use by a family. If you are a family of four, sign up for four plans, get four SIMs, and each person will use them. Each person has four contracts for the functions and capacities they need as separate plans. Then, use functions such as "share" and "gift" described later as needed.

Or if you want to use multiple SIMs by yourself. Contract as many Gigaplans as you need, for smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Even if you want to use a voice call SIM with 10 smartphones, you can use it for a total of 8580 yen at the lowest if you subscribe to each voice 2 giga plan. And if you share the data capacity with each contract (each SIM), it will be 2 giga x 10 lines = 20 giga, and one person can use more than enough capacity.
