However, for animation CG production, it is necessary to prepare a personal computer with the performance equivalent to a workstation, and it is not possible to prepare a remote environment with the same performance and operability as the office environment at home, so the production activity is delayed. There was a problem that was directly linked. At the same time, production activities must be carried out in a closed network environment, and there is also the problem that a very high level of security is required.
Splash Top Co., Ltd., Color Co., Ltd., Wacom Co., Ltd., and NTT DoCoMo Co., Ltd. In this demonstration, an edge server using NVIDIA GPU and splash-top remote computing technology was built on the cloud platform service "docomo Open Innovation Cloud" provided by DoCoMo, and the area was closed by "Cloud Direct" (*) with 5G SA. We made a connection and realized screen transfer with a maximum resolution of 4K and a high frame rate (60fps). This time, assuming use in the animation CG industry, creators belonging to color will use the liquid crystal pen tablet provided by Wacom to check the pen pressure and tilt of the digital pen on the liquid crystal pen tablet with high resolution and high frame rate.
