Did you know that Windows has a lot of special modes that can use a variety of additional functions, solve problems, and improve the performance of specific tasks?

Some of them are hidden, so you may have heard but have never used them.

This time, let's introduce Windows hidden mode with its functions and access methods.

1.God mode

"God mode" is a command name, like a shortcut collection, not actually "mode".

The options of the control panel and some commands that are not easily accessible are summarized in one list.

Setting is easy.

Right -click (anywhere you like) on your desktop and select "New> Folder".Enter the following command when giving a name.

The "Godmode" part can be changed to any name you like in "God mode".After pressing the Enter key to save the name, the folder icon turns into a control panel icon.

I don't think it's always used, but it's convenient that many commands are gathered in one place.

2.Safe mode

If you have had to do troubleshooting on Windows, you probably know about "safe mode".

This mode only reads the drivers and programs required to start Windows.

Doing so can eliminate issues caused by third -party drivers and wrong settings.

If you want to know how safe mode works, read the Windows 10 Safe Mode Starting Guide.

3.Game mode

Windows 10 has more game functions than any previous version.

In fact, there is also a setting screen dedicated to the game function. One of them is the game mode, optimizing the system so that you can perform better performance in the game.

Just enable "Settings> General> Game Mode".Now Windows is optimized for playing in games.

According to the Microsoft support page, if you are in the game mode, you will not have to install a driver or not notify you of restarting with Windows Update.

Also, it is quite vague, although the frame rate is more stable depending on a specific game or system.

If you want to know more about the game mode, check out the articles that have tried the game mode.

4.Battery saving function

If you are using a laptop, you may have been worried that the battery will be cut off when it is important.

To avoid such a situation, Windows 10 has a function (mode) to save batteries.

Enabling this function will not be able to consume energy, such as email synchronization and background app refreshing.

It also reduces the brightness that greatly contributes to the savings of batteries.

Enable with "Settings> System> Battery Saving Function".

Check "Automatically turn on the battery saving function when the battery level is below the following numbers."You can also enable the battery saving function until the next charge.

Press the "Win + A" key to launch the action center, or use the shortcuts of the icon at the bottom of the screen to quickly enable the battery saving function.

5.Dark mode

Most OS now has dark mode from the beginning, and Windows 10 is no exception.

If you enable dark mode, most default apps will not only be dark mode, but also in Windows elements such as settings and file Explorers.

To enable dark mode, select "Black" in "Settings> Personal Setting> Color".You can also select "Custom" to make Windows and apps different.

6.Compatibility mode

Windows is generally compatible with the old version, but some old software that is not updated to the current Windows version does not work properly.

That's why the OS has a compatible mode.Even if it is not officially supported, you can also move the old program on the current version of Windows.

This has been going on for a while, including Windows 10.To use the compatibility mode, right -click in the executable file and select Properties.

Open the "Compatibility" tab from there, so you can run that program with old version of Windows.

In addition, other compatibility options can be enabled, such as running at a low resolution.

7.In -flight mode

As a simple and convenient mode, there is also an in -flight mode on smartphones.

When the in -flight mode is enabled, all wireless connections are disconnected, so PCs cannot be used for WiFi, Bluetooth, packet communication, etc.

This mode is not only effective when using laptops and tablets on board, but can also be used as an option to save battery.

If you want to save a little computer or tablet battery and are working offline, you can enable the in -flight mode.

It can be enabled in "Settings> Network and Internet> In -flight mode", but it is even more convenient to use an action center.Press the "Win + A" key or click the icon at the bottom right of the taskbar.

8.Tablet mode

If you are using Windows 10 on a tablet or laptop, you should know about tablet mode.

This mode makes the device easy to use on a touch screen when the mouse or keyboard is not connected.

For example, all apps can be opened on the entire screen, and some elements can be selected using fingers, so you can afford it.

Enable in "Settings> System> Tablet Mode".

Here, you can also set a mode at startup, write it when Windows switches mode, or display a taskbar in tablet mode.

9.Concentrated mode

Intensive mode is to avoid notifying it to avoid distracting during work or work.

It can be enabled in "Settings> System> Intensive Mode".You can choose from "off", "priority only", "alarm only".

Click "Customize a list of priority" to select the one to be displayed in concentrated mode.

You can also change the concentration mode with the "automatic regulation" below. You can set it when you are duplicating a specific time, when you are duplicating the display (such as a presentation), or when playing a game.

Check out the guide in Windows 10 intensive mode.

10.S mode

It is more likely that you did not know this mode.

PCs with Windows 10 S mode are more secure than those with regular Windows installed.

If you use S mode, you can only install the Microsoft Store app, so you can't use any browser other than Microsoft Edge.

You probably don't want to use it because the restrictions are too strict. In the unlikely event that the PC you bought was in S mode, it's easy to release the settings.

Open "Settings> Updates and Security> License Certification".Click "Microsoft Store" under "Switch to Windows 10 Home (or" Windows 10 Pro ")".

When the Microsoft Store page opens, click "Out" at "Turn off S mode" to release the S mode. This is a one -way procedure, so you can't return to S mode later.
