"PlayStation App" Beta can access PS5 screenshots and recording from a smartphone
Delivered only in Japan and Canada
Sony Interactive Entertainment distributed a beta update of the official companion app "PlayStation App" on October 19.
In the beta version, as a new feature, you can access screenshots and game play videos taken on PS5 from your smartphone.This function is currently published as a beta version only in Canada and Japan.Those who live in Canada or in Japan and use PS5 can participate in the beta version by updating the PS APP for Android/iOS (no registration).The beta version may be modified or terminated without notice.In addition, some functions available in this beta version may not be adopted in the final version or significantly changed.
When this function is enabled, the game capture will be automatically uploaded from PS5 to the cloud server.Game capture can be used on PS App for 14 days after it was created on PS5.The following capture is uploaded.
・ Game play video of 3 minutes or less ・ Screenshot taken with shortcuts of creative menu or creative button
The capture can be shared with a friend or party of PlayStation Network in the app in the app, or post it to SNS.

When automatically uploading is enabled, the corresponding screenshots and video clips taken on PS5 are automatically uploaded.If you move in the PS App in the order of [Game Library]> [Capture], you can check the uploaded contents.The following operation can be performed when the capture is displayed in the PS App.
・ Select [Download] and save the capture on your device.・ Select [Share], select a party and share the capture from the game base.・ Move in the order of [Share]> [Share], and send capture from other apps corresponding with your device.・ Display the details of the capture.
