"Raspberry Pi Zero2W" whose performance has increased fivefold

　The British Raspberry Pi LTD announced on the 28th (local time) that it is equipped with a wireless local area network (WLAN). Priced at $15, it will be listed in the UK-led European Union, the United States, Canada and Hong Kong from today. New Zealand and Australia will go on sale in early November. 　CPU is the same as Raspberry Pi3, using Broadcom's "BCM2710A1" to control the working clock at 1 GHz. Zero uses BCM2835 of ARM11 architecture, and Zero2W actually achieves five times the performance of Zero in sysbench that measures multithreaded performance.

Zero uses the same method, in this case PoP (Package-on-Package: package-on-Package) technology, which places a memory package on the CPU package and installs it on a substrate. On the other hand, this device will serve as the core of CPU's BCM2710A1 and Micron memory as a package, through the decoupling capacitor to achieve a smooth core voltage supply.

　By wrapping the ball itself by Raspberry Pi, the output of the packaged ball can be used as the logo of Raspberry Pi. The company is "not the smallest Raspberry Pi logo, but the lowest resolution Raspberry Pi logo." The processor's name is "RP3A0".

　In addition to supporting OpenGL ES1.1/2.0, GPU also includes H.264MEPG-4 decoders and H.264 encoders (all 1080p30). Composite video and reset pins are prepared for solder joints.

　Efforts are also made on the substrate to enhance the heat dissipation of the processor by setting a copper foil layer. It is said that compared with the previous Zero W, the weight difference is obvious. In addition, it also has IEEE802.11b/g/n wireless LAN based on shielded wireless module, Bluetooth 4.2+LE, 1 USB2.0OTG, microSD card slot, CSI-2 camera connector and so on.
