Follow -up to new generation small finger robots Fingerbot Plus Alexa, Google Home, Siri, IFTTT that enables remote control of all switches and buttons

Fingerbot has amassed 4,000 supporters and $400,000 in donations nationwide. The latest model, Fingerbot Plus, is the long-awaited landing in Japan.

Fingerbot is a small robot finger that can physically press the switches of lights and home appliances through a smartphone app. If you attach it near the switch of the home appliance or lighting you want to control, and send instructions from the dedicated smartphone app, the small arm will move and push the switch to turn the power on or off and remotely control it.

Whether it's changing the color of your lights or powering off a smart socket with your smartphone, smart controls make our lives much more convenient. However, the latest smart solutions are expensive, difficult to install, and there are many home appliances that cannot be made smart in the first place.

For example, a garage door opener. It would be very convenient if the manual door of the garage could be remotely controlled. One way to do this is with a belt-operated garage door opener, which is rather expensive and difficult to install.

The devices that are difficult (or impossible) to make smart have one thing in common. They all have buttons and switches that you can operate with your fingers.

Focusing on this, ADAPROX came up with Fingerbot, who thought that buttons and switches could be controlled smartly at a low cost and easily. And the latest model is his Fingerbot Plus.

Fingerbot Plus is designed to give you smart control of your devices by physically manipulating buttons and switches. Simply attach with the included 3M tape. Very easy.

Furthermore, by using Fingerbot Plus together with HomeHub and Tool Pack, you will find even more useful functions and new ways to use it.

With just one tap of the app, you can instantly operate buttons and switches in remote locations.

You no longer have to get out of your car to close the garage door. When paired with the ADAPROX HomeHub, Fingerbot Plus will close the garage door according to your voice commands.

Can't press the switch with Fingerbot Plus attached? Of course not! You can manually operate buttons and switches simply by touching the Fingerbot Plus touchpad.

The first step in using Fingerbot Plus is to connect it to your smartphone and remotely control it. In addition, advanced home automation can be achieved by linking with other smart devices using cloud services.

Fingerbot Plus can realize convenient home automation by linking with other smart devices.

For example, when the door window sensor detects that the window has been opened (triggered), Fingerbot Plus automatically turns off the air purifier. What about home automation?

There are many routines in our lives, such as drinking a cup of coffee in the morning and turning off the lights before going to bed. Set up a scheduler, tell Fingerbot Plus your habits, and home automation is there too. For example, set your wake-up time and let Fingerbot Plus turn on the lights to wake you up comfortably every day.

Fingerbot Plus can be set to repeat actions. The app has an intuitive interface and is easy to set up.

For example, tell Fingerbot Plus to click your keyboard once every 5 minutes to keep Slack online all the time.

The repeat function of Fingerbot Plus is effective for such usage.

Fingerbot Plus makes it possible to restart a troubled server without going to the site.

Fingerbot Plus supports multiple third-party services, including Alexa, Google Home, and IFTTT. By using these services, it is possible to link Fingerbot Plus with other smart devices and operate as desired.

Buttons and switches on devices come in many different shapes and perform different actions. Fingerbot Plus can be used with any shape button and any movement switch by utilizing the various arms included in the Tool Pack.

Remotely control any switch or button New generation small finger robot Fingerbot Plus Alexa, Google Home, Siri, also compatible with IFTTT

Pushbuttons, buttons that must be held down, rocker switches, toggle switches. Fingerbot Plus works perfectly with any button or switch.

Fingerbot Plus has an arm pushing/pushing power of 15N (equivalent to 1.5kg), a 67% improvement. Reliably press hard switches!

Extended the maximum range of motion of the arm by 50% to 12mm. There are more and more types of buttons and switches available.

We have templates for 3D printers. You can use this to design your own original arm, so you don't have to worry about special switches that Fingerbot Plus can't use.

Note) You can connect up to 4 Fingerbot Plus to one HomeHub.

A lot of valuable feedback from users on the first generation Fingerbot has been realized in Fingerbot Plus.

Delivery for online shopping has become widely used, but in apartments, there are many people who cannot use the convenient delivery because the entrance is automatically locked while you are away.

Introducing an idea to solve this with collaboration between Fingerbot Plus and AuBee devices.

Place the AuBee SHOOT camera in line with the screen of the intercom, and place the Fingerbot Plus in line with the unlock button at the entrance. Now you are ready. When the AuBee SHOOT camera's motion sensor detects an interphone call, a notification will be sent to your smartphone outside. After talking with the delivery person using the call function of the AuBee SHOOT camera, operate the Fingerbot Plus to push the unlock button at the entrance. The delivery person will carry your package through the entrance and drop it in front of your room door.

The funds you support will be used for product localization, application for radio wave standards, import expenses, etc.

This project will be carried out by Crosslink Marketing Co., Ltd. Since our establishment in 2013, we have been operating the business of planning, manufacturing and selling small smartphones, tablets, and digital gadget products. AuBee is our own product brand.

ADAPROX has gained a lot of valuable experience in the manufacturing process through two successful Kickstarter projects. With great partnerships with reliable suppliers and factories in China, we are confident that Fingerbot Plus will be delivered to our backers as planned.

Fingerbot Plus is a successful US Kickstarter project and has already completed development. On the other hand, with regard to production, risks have arisen in the procurement of some parts as the global supply shortage of semiconductors continues. In fact, the shipment of Fingerbot Plus to US Kickstarter backers was scheduled for August, but there was a delay of about a month, and shipping began in September. This time, we plan to close the application for support in Japan in two months and start shipping immediately, but we will do our best to deliver on schedule with a thorough system.

Also, as mentioned above, there is a possibility that there will be delays in the procurement of some parts, and if there is a change in the plan, we will inform everyone immediately.
