What we want to talk about is the luxury EV "EQS" that Mercedes -Benz has launched as a flagship model. This car has a lot of technology, and I don't know what to do honestly. So, let's put the excess digital functions later, and let's start with the specifications first.

The EQS, which is sold as a competition for models such as Audi's "E-Tron GT", Tesla's "Model S", and Porsche's "TAYCAN", is the future EV of Mercedes-Benz. It is a model that shows how to exist. Mercedes -Benz has announced that it will launch EVs in all segments by 2025 and EVs will be converted to all models by the end of the 20s. This car, designed like a limousine where corporate management is riding rather than a sports car, is equipped with the largest mass -produced battery (107.8 kWh). For this reason, the cruising range based on the WLTP standard is 484 miles (about 770 km), which is a number exceeding Tesla. The fact that this cruising range was realized is the fact that the rear wheel drive instead of the whole wheel drive, and that the CD value indicating the air resistance is suppressed to 0.20 (this is the EQS for Mercedes -Benz. He claims to be the most air -mechanical car in the world). Although it is a huge car weighing 5.2m and weighs 2.5 tons, the output is 245 kW (333HP) despite the two-wheel drive only in the rear wheels, and the acceleration of 0-62 miles per hour (about 100 km) is 6.2 seconds. The speed is 130 miles (about 209 km). The most frequently felt luxurious drive experience is when driving at low speed. Because EQS is almost silent and surprisingly quiet at low speeds, just start to hear the sound of cutting the wind over 80 miles per hour (about 129 km / h). And a comfortable drive experience that matches the luxury model is realized, and you can enjoy a calm running while feeling many sophisticated parts. The unevenness of the road surface is absorbed smoothly and the impact is not transmitted. Even if you can see the seams on the road visually, the body rarely shakes. In addition, there are multiple regenerative brakes, such as the intelligent regenerative system that determines the timing of regeneration using a camera or computer, so there is almost no need to step on the brake pedal. The feeling of the brake is not the best, so it is a good feature. The EQS is equipped with a huge battery, and its weight is considerable. But interestingly, the running is agile and the handle operation is light. Because the center of gravity is low, there is almost no roll of the body. On top of that, the overall impression is that it floats on the road rather than a drive with a high heart. In the form of fairness, that is the feeling that this EV was aiming for.
