HUAWEI Huawei's high-end tab "HUAWEI MatePad 11" camera was also strong in the dark
Approximately 11-inch tablet "HUAWEI MatePad 11" equipped with Huawei's original OS "HarmonyOS 2" has a 13MP rear camera (F1.8, autofocus, built-in rear LED flash), 8MP It uses a front camera (F2.0, fixed focus). Speaking of Huawei devices, there is a reputation for camera quality. That's why I tried test shooting with the rear camera this time.

The rear camera is 13MP, F1.8, supports autofocus, and has a built-in rear LED flash. not a leica camera
First, I tried shooting indoors and outdoors in the daytime, but I felt that the colors were relatively faithful. It seems that no processing has been done to make the colors look vivid. The white balance and exposure are slightly out of alignment, but it is at a level that can be corrected after shooting.

Since this product is not equipped with a telephoto camera, photos taken with a 10x digital zoom will inevitably look like a coloring book when enlarged. However, I think that it is a practical level enough for printing with the L version or viewing it on the display of the "HUAWEI MatePad 11" itself. If you look at it on your smartphone, you should not be bothered at all.

What surprised me in a good way was the low-light shooting performance. "Night view mode" is not installed, but even with the default setting, I was able to shoot relatively brightly and with low noise. In particular, I can highly evaluate the fact that the dark areas behind the Christmas tree are well depicted. However, it tends to be out of focus when shooting in dark places. Note that you need to tap the screen to focus firmly.

The camera UI and settings are very simple. If you select "Other" in camera mode, you will find the download icon, but tapping it will not reveal any additional modes. This product with Snapdragon 865 in SoC has high processing performance, so I would like you to add the camera mode installed in Huawei smartphones.
The camera modes are simple: "Beauty", "Photo", "Video", and "Other". In "Other", there are modes such as "Document", "Panorama", "Frame Cut", and "Sticker".
Camera settings fit on one screen
Since it is a tablet device, it does not have a telephoto or wide-angle camera, but the image quality itself is satisfactory because it is made by Huawei. Also, shooting on a large screen makes it easy to check the focus and color, and above all, it's fun. Please try shooting on a large screen with an exhibition machine. Next time we will check performance with standard benchmarks.
