Windows 11 is compatible with Android apps. What does this new feature mean?

Panos Panay, Microsoft's chief product officer, explains that it was "Intel Bridge Technology" that made this app integration possible.

Since Android apps can be launched directly on Windows 11, you can expect them to function like any other Windows app.

This means that you can "inset" the Android app window in parallel with using another Windows app.

In addition, users will be able to see their favorite Android apps in the taskbar, Start menu, and put shortcuts on their desktops.

In other words, apps such as TikTok, Twitter, Ring, and Kindle can be used instantly with just a few clicks.

What Android x Windows brings to the future

As of 2020, Microsoft had already announced new features that would allow Android apps to run on Windows PCs.
